About Me

I have been working as a psychotherapist for for over 20 years in private practice, health care, non-profits and Universities. While I see people from diverse backgrounds and lifestyles, I am drawn to working with people who desire a deeper relationship with themselves.

Most of my career I have specialized in trauma, and work with people who have PTSD or complex ptsd. This includes those who have experienced sexual violence, survivors of torture and structural violence and first responders.

There is no story that is too terrible or pain that is too great that wouldn’t benefit from treatment. I will be with you and guide you through the healing journey. A witness to those parts that you have avoided or ran from, sometimes for years, only to have then show up in various ways. This can include many symptoms including: insomnia, nightmares, hypervigilance,  self medicating, anxiety, and anger.

It takes courage to look at those things that we want to forget. The only way to get to the other side is to walk through it.
